Welcome
to Coastal Downeast Maine and Acadia Village Resort, a four-seasons
resort area with New England tradition. Ellsworth, a gracious
town with hospitable people, is enhanced by historic architecture and
surrounded by an extensive lake region. Originally settled
in1763, it is located at the head of the Union River and at the
Crossroads of Downeast Maine.
Stretching from the lake region north of Ellsworth toward the most
easterly portions of our nation, the Downeast Acadia region
encompasses some of the most striking stretches of Maine's coastline.
Much of the coastlines primitive beauty is preserved within Acadia
National Park, the oldest national park east of the Mississippi
River, the only coastal national park north of Florida, and the most
visited of all of our national parks.
Area
activities abound and include golf, hiking, whale watching, boating,
canoeing, sailing, water slides, guided or individual tours, biking,
skiing, skating, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, festivals,
concerts, shopping, snowmobiling, tennis, racquetball, hunting, animal
parks, sightseeing, nature preserves, and sanctuaries.
Acadia Village Resort, located on 450 acres and nestled in privacy,
features the best value in vacation ownership today in their Villa
units. The Villas are 1280 sq ft "lock-off" units which are
2 bedroom sleep 8 that can be broken down into two separate units if
you choose via the lock-off section. (see Floor
Plan) Through the Interval International exchange system,
this allows you the exchange value of a 2bdr, sleep 8 OR 2,
1bdr, sleep 4 units. This combined with lower building costs and
competitive pricing here in Maine, makes these units the best value in
the industry. See what Interval International has said about
these units.
